PASANTÍA
A one-month internship during the months of July or August is offered at Susana Torre’s Carboneras community. The intern will work in a variety of projects, including research, drawing and video editing. Compensation for six hours of work Monday through Friday includes free housing in a studio apartment overlooking the Mediterranean in the seven-dwelling community with swimming pool, and a stipend to cover daily expenses.
Requirements include superb modeling and rendering skills with Form Z, Rhinoceros or similar, and video editing skills with imovie, using own computer and software.
Carboneras is located in Andalucía, Spain, on the Mediterranean coast of Almeria. The Cabo de Gata Natural Park surrounds the village. Seville, Cordoba and Granada are within a short driving distance. There are also good air connections to Barcelona, Madrid and other Spanish cities, and beyond.
There are direct flights from New York to Malaga (a two-and-a-half hour drive to Carboneras). Otherwise, there are direct flight connections from Madrid or London to Almeria.
